About Us
AGAPE Homeschool Academy Origin
Agape Homeschool Academy was founded with the desire to provide a faith-based educational and social experience for homeschooling families in the Bitterroot Valley. We chose the name Agape because Agape is selfless, sacrificial, unconditional love. Our community is rooted in this love that parents have for their children, just like the love Jesus has for us.
Our goal is to provide a weekly opportunity for growth through hands on and classroom learning, as well as give kids an opportunity to form lifelong friendships through social activities and building a community together that we hope will last a lifetime - founded in Christ.
In person class experience
We host an in person class and hands on learning experience weekly on Thursdays during the school year (September through May). We structure our classes in blocks, meaning each of our learning sections are 6-week focused class sections to cover a wider array of topics and allow parents the opportunity to teach many different topics.
Field Trips and Community Gatherings
Your membership includes monthly (or more) field trips planned around the class topics being taught that term. We also plan additional Agape community events such as hikes, picnics, holiday celebrations, etc. for our families to gather and spend time together.
